Cafe Imports out of Minn. does some half bags of cup of excellence coffees. Like 20 to 50 pounds From time to time you can get some nice stuff for a steal. Also Green coffee buyers club has a web site - a forum. You can get some deals. The system seems to work out of in general. I would stick with the new offerings and steer clear of the one-off sales. I ordered 15 pounds and it got messed up in shipping (so pay for the insurance) and then when I got the green coffee it was not comparable to other coffees from that origin. It's not good enough to sell. There is another online coffee coop but there is not enough action to get excited about.
Of course, Sweet Marias always has a high standard of coffee. It would be hard to buy a bad coffee there. He does small amounts (try the eight pound sampler. I have also bought from other home roaster suppliers. I had good experience with our coffee barn and coffee project.(try the uncertain origin). I guess it comes down to shipping cost.
We sell 100% Kona green beans direct from our farm. We are members of both the Kona Coffee Council, KCC, and the Kona Coffee Farmers Association, KCFA, which verfies our product. The green beans we sell are graded by Hawaii Department of Agricultural standards. The grades are extra fancy, fancy, Kona #1, prime and Peaberry. We sell the majority of our green beans to small home roasters, small commercial roasters and coffee shops who roast their own.
We accept orders in any size, 1-100 pounds. We generally ship priority mail other is available. From here that is the best price for shipping which runs about .75 cents a pound for 12 pounds of green beans.
What is the name of your farm? what are your prices for the different grades? do you have a website for ordering? I was over there this summer. Of course the Volcano was slow at the time!
Our farm is called Princess Radha Farm. Yes we have a web site http://www.princessradhafarm.com but we do not list our green prices there. If you would like to email me at page@princessradhafarm.com you may. We never share anyone's email with anyone.
Quantities of 25 lb. or more fall into the wholesale category and the price is based on the Commodities Exchange Center (CEC) KC contract for arabica coffee, plus a premium. We presently have two conventional coffees from Boquete, our own Café Elisa, grown on the family-owned farm, and coffee from Café Kotowa. The premiums are 45 cents and 40 cents, respectively so at today's KC price that would be
Café Elisa: $1.30 + .45 = $1.75 per pound
Café Kotowa $1.30 + .40 = $1.70 per pound
Shipping is paid by the buyer. I just checked the FedEx rate for 100 lb to 93063 and it is about $50. The KC contract price can be seen at http://ifs.marketcenter.com/charts/charts.jsp?cID=FS&iFSsymbols...
These are the prices for less than 25 lb.
Café Elisa $9.95/lb
Café Kotowa $9.50/lb

At 6:00 am on Friday, the doors opened to Starbucks first “un-Starbucks” store on Capitol Hill in Seattle. It’s called 15th Ave Coffee & Tea and upon first glance, you would never know it was a Starbucks. There isn’t a green siren logo to be found anywhere. The only thing giving away the true identity of the corporate owner are the words “inspired by Starbucks” strategically placed around the

Did you know?
Costa Rica is the only country in the world which has issued an executive order banning the production of any variety of coffee other than Arabica. This standard is made possible by the expertise, experience and favorable physical conditions found in this remarkable land.
I'm going to Costa Rica soon!
Computers and coffee roasting do NOT mix. How many burnt batches of coffee before I follow that rule?
